Went to turn on dual view the other day to watch a movie...BSOD! EDIT - it's definitely only 'dual view' that causes the issue..hmm

Details are:

Fault bucket X64_0x3B_nvlddmkm+9261c, type 0
Event Name: BlueScreen

As usual the event log proved useless.

[Spec in sig]

The blue screen itself mentioned nvlddmkm.sys

My first ever BSOD in Vista. Can't remember the last time I used dual view, but I think it was before I updated to FW 163.69.

I have now updated to 169.75 but the problem remains.

I've Google'd nvlddmkm BSOD and found several leads but they all seem to relate to errors in games in Vista RC2.

Anyone have any insight?

My next step is to clean revert to an earlier FW version, but before I do that, is there any way of exporting my profiles and other settings in the CP?

Ta :)

Since this definitely only happens when switching to Dual View, can anyone with a similar system and the latest WHQL or beta Vista 64 ForceWare drivers installed try switching to dual view and see what happens?
