Nvidia demo's The Witcher 3 at E3 using PhysX

Completely off topic but I have a way to decide who is the best out of AMD and Nvidia...A Grid 2 showdown :D
Oh that's an easy one everyone knows Red cars are faster than Green lol

Love the witcher series but you normally have to wait on the enhanced version before the games really good.
Great to see phys x used for a change might be the first game i play with it in

Above all else, it is great to see a dev team put the PC above the consoles and that is certainly what CD Project do.

Waiting for this game so much, but surely will need to update the GPU to come close to maxing out the settings even at 1080. The previous title was brilliant and pushed my old GPU very hard, so assuming this one will do the same :)

Aye, CD Project Red is a great developer. I guess the fact that they have other business ventures allows them to be particular at what they want to achieve and what platforms to create for instead of pandering to the publishers as many others have to.

I've got so many games to play, just don't know which order to tackle them :D

Metro: Last Light
The Witcher 2
The Last Remnant (want to replay this)
Bioshock Infinite
Crysis 3
Assassin's Creed 3

I recommend you start with bioshock infinite. It's a great game just to pick up and play for a while. I have witcher 2 and have have made several attempts to play it but haven't got into it, Bioshock infinite was just gret right from the start.

Yep :)

One of the cdpr devs was recently asked what platform should be used to get the best witcher 3 experience, the answer was a no hesitation PC.

don't forget cdpr also make dlc free ;)

Any developer looking to capture the hearts of pc gamers should take a long hard look at how cdpr do buisness.

I've had the 1st Witcher game on my Steam since about 3 years ago, still not touched it. :(

I would say that RPGs are probably my favorite games to play but I gave up on the first Witcher after about first act. It had some great ideas but you could see they they were just beginning as developers. Now for the second one - even though I'd agree that it is a bit linear - the story was brilliant, characters and settings really stood out for me as well. Combat was possibly not the best around but I've got to liking it towards later acts and somehow it was never something that bothered me much (in comparison, I would say that combat was a lot more engaging than Skyrim for me). I finished the game maybe 3-4 times trying all different choices and quest lines. Anybody who is partial to RPGs should really try it in my opinion. And if your hardware was able to run it on highish settings it was a very good looking game too.

Finally! A chance to use this!

You must have waited ages to use that

As good as this looks, I'm more interested in their upcoming sci-fi rpg, Cyberpunk.

Even if it was just Witcher2 in a sci-fi setting I'd be more than happy.

I am the same. PGI told me the Witcher 2 is awesome, so I decide to actually play the game, so I started with the tutorial and at the end of it, I was no wiser and thought I would come back to it another time.... But I will deffo play this and hopefully for longer, as it looks stunning to me.

While the fur movements on that wolf look epic, I keep coming back to the thought of 'how often in the game am I going to be staring at a wolfs fur swaying in the wind'.
You can see nvidia's fur technology in call of duty:Ghosts, it has bad performance issues and looks naff, imho.
