NVidia driver profiles

does anyone use the profiles on the NVidia drivers ?

I never touch them, I always set the Global Settings "profile" depending on what game or if im benchmarking. Eg, AA ON/OFF or Application controlled, and Image Quality etc but I never touch the advanced settings in there.

Is it worth using the profiles?, also does anyone change the Advanced options ?
I tried different Sli Rendering techniques but non seem to make a difference to fps.

Any info would be cool,

I've actually just started using them after going SLI. Nvidia set up the best SLI profile for each game, so it makes sense to use them. I was being a bit thick at first, as I didn't realise you had to manually attach the correct exe file to each profile - I thought it just did them automatically

On 91.31 is so buggy, you add a new profile and freezes or nothing happens,but if you switch to old view (not NV control panel) they work but manually.
Also the 91.31 with preview setting is very bad, you change to quality and nothing happens, on the 91.28 it works well, also the 91.33 works fine too.
Really sucks the 91.31 is the official and still have bugs ..

yea Im not into the new style interface, Im back on classic view - also I couldn't find half the settings!, a step backwards NVidia
