Nvidia drivers keep installing automatically.

I’m having this super annoying issue where nvidia drivers keep getting installed after uninstalling them.

I uninstalled the drivers and used DDU and even have the auto update thing disabled but after a system restart if I give it 2 mins I’ll see the same drivers I uninstalled get reinstalled again.

I’m trying to install the new nvidia drivers but i can’t because the old one keeps getting installed after restarting pc.

Any ideas?

When ever I install new drivers I always DDU. I was with AMD before and AMD Drivers never reinstalled automatically after DDU clean and restart so I think this is an Nvidia thing rather then windows initiating the install.

Install the new drivers, select "Custom" and tick "Clean Install".

The official driver install package will then completely remove all Nvidia drivers automatically before installing new ones.
