Nvidia fan thinking of turning

I'm undecided what GPU to get with

-Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz Ivybridge CPU

-Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

-Samsung Green 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel


I've been looking at a

-OcUK GeForce GTX 670 2048MB

that are £287 this week, is there any other card i should consider in this price range (this is tops i want to spend really)

I'll even consider a AMD card if its going to be better that the 670 for the same or less cash. I've no experience with model codes or specs for AMD cards as I've never owned one

Cracking 7970 deals on at the minute !

7950 every time, fairly sure some of the HIS 7950's are dirt cheap at the moment.

What level is the 7970 and 7950's compared to a 670-2gig ?

I've no idea on AMD cards what so ever

Im running a 460gs at the moment

I forgot to say i used 2d and 3d at 1920x1080 at the moment

Wow, didn't think this post would be so busy

Yeah i use the nvidia 3d vision, well used to anyway, i use it a lot less now (Makes me feel a little woozy sometimes) and been thinking of selling it off.

So I'm up for a possible change to a AMD card but at the moment i just cant decide what to do, so much info to soak up on the net and so many variations of cards

I've ordered my Bundle anyway which should be here next week so ill have something to play with at least (first system with a SSD Harddrive)

I was hoping something would appear on this weeks offers but nothing took my fancy much.. I'm just really unsure lol
