I have a NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor and wondering if i should stick with Nvidia graphics cards? So is they any benefit from sticking with Nvidia cards for my next upgrade over AMD or are they both the same .

Depends on the monitor. Some will support other vrr tech and some won't.
As to the difference between freesync and g-sync there's basically no noticeable difference between them on monitors that support both.

That monitor has the dedicated G-Sync module and won't support any form of VRR with an AMD GPU though will as above support the full refresh rate. Personally I'd stick with an nVidia GPU as I wouldn't want to lose G-Sync/VRR.

If the AMD gpu you get as plenty of power your fine, if you looking at the lower end I’d go nvidia

If I found the right monitor @1440 165hz I would stick with nvidia
