Nvidia games profiles problem?

Got a problem with selecting my games to personalize IQ setting in the control panel, basically it does not recognize any of my installed games, it did recognize them once and now they have gone, all so the games you can choose from seem very limited from my past experience with no popular games like COD or crisis, I wouldn't mind but it will not let me add BF2 to the list, is this a bug with these drivers or something else?

Ive had this also, i have had to just set it in cp and leave it, as messing with the profiles kept wiping my cp settings and i would have to reinstall the drivers to be able to have AA or AF in games.

I also noticed that with AA forced it still didnt work in BF2... what about you ?

I can apply AA in BF2 fine, 32x looks  but yeah the profiles are buggy, so I have to reset to defaults and just use the global profiles, still they sometimes randomly reset and a reset to default is required to make them stick.

Yeah, I know that, it still drops the settings with it unchecked, when it does I lose any games I have added or configured and I need to reset to defaults to be able to configure again otherwise the settings just reset when I change them.

I've heard of the problem before, never suffered from it myself.
Uninstall drivers, use driver sweeper in safe mode
Re-install drivers.

Thats the solution I always see posted round the net...

uninstall then reinstall drivers, no install over old drivers thats a no no. Swapped your Graphics card for a new model? that's the Problem ;)..

It's not the problem at all, go check guru3D nvidia drivers section out, loads have this problem and they never just migrated form an ATI card.

Never had that issue, some games do not get detected i can give it that .. but nothing you posted above.. madly installing/uninstalling drivers everyday, something will break.

Seriously you have no clue, get a clue by going through the below thread and checking out the number of people with the same problem.

Hmm, a lot do seem to have the problem. But then the people without the problem wont post about it so I guess more dont have it then do have it.

Try going back to the previous set of drivers, then updating the drivers without uninstalling old ones. Using win 7 x64 & i've never uninstalled my old nvidia drivers, always just updated & all has been fine.

I had this with the first set of 256 betas, the general answer seemed to be the uninstall/reinstall routine. If not, as Coupe suggested, try nhancer, though I'm not sure that's been updated to work with the 256 series drivers yet.

Narrowed it down to the AA settings, applying personal AA setting for a game will inevitably delete the profile meaning a reset to defaults to correct the bug.
