Hopefully all this will be "open" to work on any vendor to as large a degree as possible.

Whether or not that happens remains to be seen. For now, I will remain hopeful, just as I will remain hopeful that Mantle will be usable on Nvidia cards, as I am sure I have read they said it would be ;)

Maybe i missed it, i don't that said anywhere.

As for Mantle, it depends on Nvidia taking it up, i can't see them doing that, i think they would rather try to compete with it using locked libraries and API's.

I keep an eye on both AMD and NV issues, i like to keep myself informed and i knew about the black screen issues on the NV forum weeks ago, its just that eyetrip asked for it in this case and no trawling needed seeing as its at the top of the first page of the forum https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/33/.

Enabled adaptive vsync and dropped physx to low, lowest my frames now drop is 57fps, more then playable, sounds like physx is borked - may explain why AMD users were getting a better experience with it on low/off.

Nice to see Physx is still killing Nvidia performance. :p #TressfxFTW

I think it did something similar on borderlands 2 & multi card setups, for what ever reason it just caved perf.

Will try later with a 780 as dedicated physx, but atm having it low has improved the game no end.

Oc'd CPU stock GPU's, complete power out and then reboot, just as if someone had pulled the power cable, most likely OCP or something of the likes kicking in, it wasn't playing ball clocking my GPU's yesterday either.
 
Nah I suspect its long gone, iirc it had a 5 year warranty. That said its lasted since I was on SLI 9800GTX+'s :)
