- Second Generation Unified Shader Architecture.
- Double precsion support (FP64).
- GPGPU native.
- Over one TeraFLOPS of shader processing power.
- MADD+ADD configuration for the shader untis (2+1 FLOPS=3 FLOPS per ALU)
- Fully Scalar design.
- 512-bit memory interface.
- 1024MB GDDR4 graphics memory.
- DirectX 10.1 support.
- OpenGL 3.0 Support.
- eDRAM die for "FREE 4xAA".
- built in Audio Chip.
- built in tesselation unit (in the graphics core"
- Improved AA and AF quality levels

sorry if posted before.

If it lives up to those specs and performance then I am definitely buying one.
Twice as fast as a 8800Ultra, less power and free 4xAA, mmmm :)

Well with that power it's more than possible.

The 8800GTX is a lot more powerful than the 7900GTX for example.

if 4xFSAA is mandatory in dx10.1 spec then oh man, this means framerate-lossless FSAA...which is no bad thing! I will save for one and maybe for the first time ever be able to buy a new gen card on release just for gloat factor :p

Whats so funny, very realistic if you read the specs.

- DirectX 10.1 support.
Hmm? Already a new dx10 revision?

- eDRAM die for "FREE 4xAA".

Good good, finally a good compedator to xbox360.

- 1024MB GDDR4 graphics memory.

Hope they release a 512 budget version, I don't need 1gb @ 1280x1024 and 1024x768.

- built in Audio Chip.

Hope its better than onboard stuff, might take some strain away from the cpu.

All sounds about right, nothing too improbable. Transistor count is quite low for the flop count, clocks will be up. So something like 50% more shaders/tmu/rops on the G80 680m transistors gets it to the 1000m, an upscale. Maybe 192 Shader processors at 1750Mhz, 192x3x1750= 1TFlop

Its quite possible, even if it is my entire wish list.

DX10.1 has been on the table for ages.

It'll be a separate chip same as the vivo is now, the die will be big enough as it is, better for the yields.

5 months? Time to start saving :D
