Whats so funny, very realistic if you read the specs.

Hmm? Already a new dx10 revision?

Erm yea It's been known for eons. Apparantly it will add tesselation support and a number of other things. This is where the R600 is ahead of the G80 in that aspect.

Good good, finally a good compedator to xbox360.

WTF :/ If anything can compete or be directly comparable with the 360's chip (Xenos) It's the R600 which is basically it's big brother. The 360 does feature eDRAM but the AA on this chip is only free because of the low resolution the 360 run's at a lot of the 360 titles out atm don't even take advantage of it the G90 will be massively advanced compared to it.

Hope they release a 512 budget version, I don't need 1gb @ 1280x1024 and 1024x768.

They will, why would they want to cut of a massive market segment who would want the 512mb version.

Hope its better than onboard stuff, might take some strain away from the cpu.

Most likely just a bridge chip as featured on the R600.

Don't games need to be designed to take advantage of the eDram? I know that 360 games do, you can't just plonk 4xAA on and be done with it.

Yea I think they do. DX10.1 specification may have it.

No, the R600 gives free AA in certain games/resolutions for example in Doom 3, going from 8xAA to 16xAA takes no hit what so ever, so is theoretically "Free" I have noticed this in other games aswell.

Well its been said that DX10.1 will have a hardware requirement of 4 samples per pixel minimum, is that mandatory in app or just a spec? Dunno. The current cards don't have all the functions they're talking about for 10.1, WDDM 2.1 looks like a lot of work. And its all or nothing, if one API function is missing it drops back to the previous version.
