Nvidia GeForce Beta 275.27 - Performance Increases !!

Well, since last night I've just had a very random BSOD. I forgot to look at the codes etc while it was displayed but it's my first one for months since using these :( just when I thought I'd found some good drivers for BC2.

Also don't forget to uncheck 3D Vision, Nvidia Update, HD sound drivers and all that rubbish as well (unless of course you happen to use them).

Good point, I always forget to uncheck and uninstall all this drivers manually, does HD dound driver is for use with HDMI?

Installed drivers, noticed that MSI fan control didn't work couple times

anybody test shogun2 with these drivers ?

Went from 29fps average to 32fps average on benchmark at 1920x1200 res with 8xaa maxed and depth of field off.

I guess if you use 4xaa then the fps boost probably be 10 or so.

Great drivers so far.

Performance seems better all around for me with a GTX260, but flash video won't work correctly on some videos when in full screen? Could be down to flash though I suppose.

I have tried these (well the notebook equivilant) on my M11x R1 and I am seeing a noticable boost in the most cpu limited scenarios (BFBC2 mainly).

Any boost is welcome for the M11x in that game so I am happy.

Portal 2's minimum FPS has gone up for me, /overjoyed/.

8xCSAA, 16xAF, 1920x1200

Code:
Min Max Avg
------------------------
Previous WHQL:
100	226	152.544

These BETAs:
108	227	151.876

Were you joking? I don't know much about benchmarking and don't really care for it but I would have thought it was the Avg you would be most interested in. There might have only been one FPS at 108, and likewise the previous score of 100. If you rerun the same test multiple times and consistently get higher Min FPS then yes that would mean something because the average MinFPS across multiple runs would be consistently higher.

For serious benchmarking I would run the same test multiple times, before and after updating the software and compare (ie, work out the average min FPS across all 10 runs, before and after updating, likewise for the other stats
