Given that the 465 often struggles to best a GTX275

Really, I would have thought a GTX465 would be faster as it has double the shaders and roughly the same clockspeed, or am I missing something?

Well I'm being a bit harsh - but it doesn't pull away from the higher end 200 series cards as much as I'd like to see from a card with the number of SPs and price it commands I think partly its due to the gimped TMU and ROPs.

Its not worth the asking price so I cant see it "commanding" a premium price.

ATI have a few cards between £90 and £130 that should be as fast/faster.

A GTX260 FOR £150 will do CouldA / FizzX and might be a touch faster.

Maybe a GTX465 has much less ROPs than a GTX260/280 that could explain why it isn't much faster.

I did check some reviews of the GTX470 and from those had already decided to keep using my overclocked GTX280 for a while longer.

What they REALLY need is for TSMC to stop screwing up manufacturing processes so they can build GPUs with good yields.

Nvidia need to build a core that fits in better with what TSMC have to offer. If TSMC's process was better suited to Fermi that would just mean more Fermi based Nvidia crap.

Nvidia need to redesign and TSMC need to improve.

Even ATI had issues with the TMSC process tho and their designs are usually far more forgiving on the process than nVidias.

I know TSMC have a very difficult process Rroff.

Its not more forgiving to ATI, ATI had exactly the same set of problems but they put in the effort to work out the problems.
