Depends how many hours your PC is on and playing games for. A gaming PC is probably the most power hungry device in a modern home overall, when you consider how much it's used. We're on a crappy pre-paid electric meter here, and I could definitely tell the difference when I swapped a 4850 for a much more thirsty 4890. The end result is you end up feeling guilty and using it less, especially with the huge rises in electric prices over the last few years. Maybe you guys don't pay the electric bill thoughI don't get why people are so fussed over power requirements, it's not as if it will significantly affect your electricity bills and nor will it have any effect on climate change, lol.
