It's not just Titan X owners who stand to lose in re-sale but GTX 980 owners as well.

I think us TX guys will lose more though. My extra 6GB vram is soaking up all my tears as I write this :p

^^ It's definitely worth waiting a bit longer if you're looking at buying now as a few reviews and videos have hinted that it's worth seeing what AMD have to offer, even if it does just cause another price adjustment on the Nvidia cards.

lol does any1 know where the ichill card was linked from?
i was fapping over that while it got removed :(

and i agree with boom, tx should beat it in benchmarks u wouldnt use it much kap!?, booms sensible lol :)

Haha I'm far from sensible the amount of GPU switching I do :p. I was just playing Devil's Advocate. If Kaap will get some use from a 980 Ti then why not just go for it. You only live once, might as well do the stuff you enjoy lol.

I think the only card I would switch to now would be of AMD's flagship beats the TX well. Nvidia's CEO has just confirmed that their next GPU's are going to be Pascal on 14nm next year. So anyone on a Titan X or 980 Ti will be set for the next year.

Just need to see what AMD bring to the table..

i think the guess is they wont be until next summer too
thats a pretty big gap if true
you could have a amd pc and a nvidia pc, kind of helps for some titles lol
actually dont you crazy enough :)

Haha, I don't think I will be selling my Titan X. No wish to run two PC's.

If I get an AMD Fiji, I'll give my Titan X to my boys. It should last them a good while.

Def worth going for a Hybrid. If there had been a TX Hybrid at launch I would have gone for that for sure.

These GM200's are hot chips and would love some water.

Didn't want to spam the owners thread with this so came here instead. I won't be upgrading with the 980ti but I think it's upgrade time when they next launch a new set of cards whatever they will be called. Any idea what's next for nvidia? And roughly when they will be expected to release something else. Next upgrade will be likely around next February :)

The Nvidia CEO said the next high end series would be Pascal on 14nm next year. Probably Q2/Q3 2016 time-frame for the different models. Expect full chip (Expensive) early etc (March) and then roll out the full series over the year.

I still think we will see a GTX 960 Ti 3GB 192/Bit/Bus this year but no more higher end cards.

Yuk, looks like an old cheap 680

No taste my friend. I guess we've been indoctrinated into thinking that only grey and black (Titan style) shrouds are cool now.

To me the Hybrid looks like a real quality card with a decent backplate and a cooler that actually cools well.

Also. I just want to point out the ridiculous gouging going on for UK customers. (Even more so than usual  ) A 980Ti is $650 in the US and £570 - £580 here on OCUK. That's laughable. $650 = £425 + 20% for VAT is £500.

:o

Kitguru have written about this >>>>>>> http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18674374

Card itself looks ok, but not that struck on an AIO slung onto a gpu. Cooling is obviously pretty good. But try going sli and things start to get a bit cluttered.

True, prefer single GPU myself so this could ideal. Waiting for a review of the Titan X hybrid and AMD's Fiji before buying anything else though.
