*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I initially ordered a Asus Tuf on 24/09/20 but the swapped it for PNY on 01/10/20 and was allocated number initially was 18 but moved down to 3 after a week.

i had a notification this morning about shipping. been along 6 weeks

I'm glad for you , but I'm really angry, as they seemed to have placed you ahead of me in the queue , when my order was before yours
 
I do wish people would help a brother out with info about where they are sourcing these cards from and how they go about getting alerts (even if they have to send a PM; that's okay right?)

I leave the informer website open and I get no alerts, despite it claiming to refresh every few minutes.

I am clearly too slow, inexperienced or incompetent for this sort of thing.

you need to join telegram and join following chat - fe partalert plus join discord and join stockdrops mate and you will get notifications
 
I rang up at lunch time today (around 1pm) and i litterally asked "im around 250 in your queue for the strix gaming oc what are my chances of getting it before new year?" to which i was told "wait for gibbo's updates. he gives you the info before we even get it" if this is how this company is run that not even customer service know whats going on then i guess i might as well not place another order here for the foreseeable. they keep saying its a "demand" issue but is it a demand issue when you can't even supply more than 100 units in nearly 2 months?
 
Cancelled my TUF O/C 3080 yesterday after speaking to customer service on the phone and being told I'd be lucky to get one before February.

I'll wait for an AMD and save money.

What queue number were you? Very worrying as i'm around 430.

I don't know if CS realise, but Gibbo doesn't even post half the updates. There's constantly people here saying "oh I got a dispatch note for X card" that was never even mentioned in the update thread. Gibbo's too busy looking at cars parked in gardens paid for by stock trades to actually do his job.
 
It definitely updated to buy now today

I checked it after my purchase (about 2 mins before they were out of stock, I was really fast on the order lol). 3070 and 3090 showed buy, but 3080 didn't.

A few people could see the buy button last time but not many. could be the same thing again

Go back a few pages on this thread, and you'll see it's not the first time it happens - it's actually happened at least a few time for each shipment.
But you will also find people that claim that OCuk is not doing anything wrong and that we just have to be patient.
 
Ah great another missed FE drop, my distill didn't even trigger for **** sake
Missed it too. Literally 30 seconds prior to it going live I stepped away to get some painkillers, came back 5 minutes later to see all the alerts and the 3080's were sold out. The 3070's and 3090's were available for about 45 minutes though.
