*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Currently 55 in the Ventus line and I'm about to just throw in the towel after so long. I ordered on the 17th at 15:14:00

Myself and the other half also bought into the PS5 which will arrive by the 19th.

So I'm thinking, **** it. I'll have a PS5, my GTX 1080 will live on and will do for Cyberpunk.

@EVH could we get a sticked thread for @GIGA-Man to provide updates regarding gigabyte cards now that @Gibbo will be no longer posting them ?
No. There's too many stickies as it is. I had to un-stick some just to keep the 3080/90 threads managable.

If there's that many posts, then the thread will naturally rise to the top :)

Yup, ASUS. where are you looking for what the card "thinks" it has out of interest?

Can't remember specifically as I'm on my work laptop right now, but seem to remember looking in display settings and in ASUS' own graphics card software - it showed me the HDMI port and that something was connected, but didn't show me the DisplayPort at all, not even to say that nothing was connected. For the first hour after installing the card I assumed I hadn't done something properly because the PC kept defaulting back to the motherboard's DP port as the main port. I spent ages jumping in and out of the BIOS, reinstalling drivers and even re-seating the card before I tried an HDMI cable instead. It's irritating, because I have daisy-chained monitors that I can't use with HDMI.

Exactly this. The TUF cards and the EVGA XC3 cards are the only AIB 3080s that will physically fit in my NZXT H1 and those are the cards with the lowest availability. Tempted to cancel my non OC TUF order but its not like i'm gonna be able to get one from anywhere else any sooner so whats the point?

The pny cards also fit and the msi ones fit if you unscrew the top of the case to fit it first

Are people who receive 3080s from OCUK getting their Watch Dogs: Legion codes? I'm concerned that the promotion is now for Call of Duty.
Got my card on Friday and they sent watchdogs code on Thursday just after dispatch. They must be close to running out though (if they haven't already)

Thought people may be interested in this information about the 3080ti release..

According to news from the Taiwan board manufacturer, NVIDIA has confirmed that it will launch the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti in January. The price is estimated to be US$999 against AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT. The GPU specifications are very close to the GeForce RTX 3090, but the memory is frequent. The bandwidth will be reduced from 384bit to 320bit, and the memory capacity will be reduced from 24GB to 20GB GDDR6X. NVIDIA is waiting to see that AMD’s new card cannot be ignored.

According to the information obtained, NVIDIA is planning to launch the "GeForce RTX 3080 Ti", which will be positioned between RTX 3090 and RTX 3080. It will use GA102-250-KD-A1 graphics core, PG133-SKU15 PCB design, and built-in The same 10496 CUDA Cores as RTX 3090, but the memory configuration is reduced to 20GB GDDR6X VRAM, 320-bit memory interface. RTX 3080 Ti will have the same TGP as RTX 3080, which is controlled at the level of 320W, and also does not support NVLink.

In terms of price, the Taiwan board manufacturer stated that the RTX 3080 Ti is estimated to be priced at USD 999. It has to be said that the price-performance ratio of the "GeForce RTX 3080 Ti" is much more attractive than that of the GeForce RTX 3090 at the asking price of US$1,499, which makes AMD Radeon more attractive. The price and memory capacity advantages of the RX 6900 XT have completely disappeared.

First time poster, long time lurker. I've been invoiced the key for said video game so I intend to get it when, eventually, my card ships.

For those interested, I ordered the Asus 3080 Strix OC, current queue position is 48.
