Encouraging this ripoff is exactly why we're getting ripped off. Cards are being sold for 30% more WTF and people are queueing to buy them?!

im not encouraging it in the slightest. i wouldn't buy it from ocuk out of priciple so hell no at that price. It will be available cheaper else where very soon. Just look at past alerts to see zotacs are coming in everywhere and have for the last few weeks.

You have to understand the reasoning that people pay high prices and ocuk are exploting this. I dont agree with ocuk practises but i do understand peoples reasoning to buy now to have something in their hands quickly.

Im sure the none oc would find itself at exactly the same price as the oc IF they had stock :)
 
I cancelled my pre order of a zotac holo last month (too expensive and no info), have any shipped yet ?

Also, if I was to order a card now which 3080 looks to be moving quickest / shortest queue?

MSI Ventus looks to be moving some units ?

It's their money. Thats how the world works and always has. Supply/Demand

To you that price may not be worth it. For someone else if they have the cash and don't want to wait it's a good purchase from their perspective.

This. I'm not savvy enough for all of this hunting about and waiting for alerts and I see a card that is only a bit more than what I have on ice with OCUK now, I will take it.

Looks like The OC being in stock wasn't a load of old rubbish. Hopefully I was quick enough since my order was completed at 10:17 and the order received e-mail came in at 10:30. Just shows "Order received - not shipped" right now.
 
All of this talk about what is worth what is just toxic. How I see it is if any of the ones doing this and are trying to make people feel bad for buying a graphics card at an inflated price take a step back and look at yourself, if any of you spend your money on alcohol, drugs or cigarettes you have no right to tell people that them buying a graphics card at an inflated price is a waste of money.

Shows as one remaining now so you should be good I would have thought.

Also bagged one of these @ 10:10 and it took 20mins or so for confirmation email... Just gotta pray to the PayPal gods that the payment goes through OK.
