*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Genuine answer is people who have given ocuk a LOT of money want to know that the person who should be giving updates hasn't forgotten about them. List
To top everything of you might have noticed ocuk decided to put some zotac oc cards in stock at an inflated price. Surely any excess cards should have been offered to the front of queues with people already waiting in an effort to reduce pre-order queues. Instead ocuk chose to grab more money whilst leaving customers (some that have been waiting since day 1) hanging. If i was still in a pre-order queue i'd probably be pretty peed off aswell ;)

WOW!!! Maybe its because of the exchange rate.

wtf OCUK put Zotac cards in stock at inflated prices instead of using these carda to fulfill preorders?

Basically the crux of my complaint a few pages back. I would've happily paid the (honestly extortionate) £100 difference between my non-OC from launch day and the OCs they had left over after fulfilling pre-orders this morning, but was never offered this option. And why would they? They'd only get £100 more from me. They'd rather have the whole £830 from a whole new customer.

Personally I'd rather just be told when they know some are on the way. (Had a Palit on order since Sept) Why do people want updates with no information?

Because it means that they are actually trying to do sort of customer service, nothing worse than staying silent, that just shows contempt for customers and angers them.

It's already been stated that this doesn't happen, and orders are fulfileld from 2 different Q's....
Yes supposedly, but when Gibbo says so many turn up (he only deals with cards for Stock) and then half that number get dispatched to customers (we can count and go by Queue numbers) the figures do not add up.
So where do all the missing cards go??

I have been 9th for a non OC asus tuf 3080 since an hour after launch. I was sat there ready to check out at launch and the website was crashing for a full hour before i could follow through.

They have not had ANY stock on this since initial release. Absolutely ridiculous! Nvidea were not ready to release this they just wanted to get ahead of AMD and the consoles...

Yesterday Asus 3080 Tuf OC - OK amount These should all arrive by end of next week.
Today Very small amount of Asus 3080 TUF OC on there way to us
Does this mean that the ok amount has changed to a very small or is it on top of the Ok amount ? :(

That is the issue with random and vague amounts banded about by Gibbo, we need actual concrete information and numbers. If it was down to an NDA (highly dubious) that is completely out of the picture 2 months after release.

I'm hoping this bites nVidia in the ass. I've been only with nVidia since the 8800GT days but I'm gonna jump to AMD if the third party benchmarks are good. RTX / DLSS would be nice but the large VRAM amount will help with some productivity stuff.

Does anyone know if the Gigabyte vision cards which have been shipped today are also the OK amount stated in Gibbos update?

He has stated an OK amount is expected but only shipped like 27. I thought OK was like 50?

They had a very small batch come in on Monday (less than 10, and I'd guess less than 9 if you didn't get one)

I am going to try and get a 6800xt but fear the same is going to happen. They have massively dropped the ball with this. I am sure they must have projected how many they expected to sell. If AMD do a better job at manufacturing Nvidea are going to lose SO MUCH MONEY!

There were at least 4 dispatched on Monday, note no mention whatsoever in the update thread, this was from posts here from those who had dispatch emails, Position 3, so obviously 1 and 2 got one we hope.
Plus the guy in 339 position who ordered at 18:58 on launch day and could not understand at all why he got one.
Their system must be full of glitches.

They received just over 30 and shipped them out according to CS, which they said would have been the OK amount he mentioned. I think OK is from 34+
