I think that's the point he's making. Usual AMD synthetic benchmark hype not really backed by reality that those of us who've been around for a bit fully expected. Next to come is gaming forums full of radeon users blaming devs for their less than expected performance.

I'd take all that with a heafty pinch of salt tbh. He also said hundreds are coming in every week, clearly not to here. And that OCUK should be aware weeks in advance of any stock coming in, which either they're not, or just not bothering to give us any indication of.

If most of that were true, Asus queues here wouldn't be moving so slowly!
 
Has Gibbo started posting stock updates onto a thread that only he has access to, or have we reached the point of complete radio silence?

I had to return my 3080 as it was DOA and am waiting for the next round of Zotac OC stock so I can have my replacement. Back to lurking the forums for me....

It's the latter. nothing at all.

Saw reports earlier of Auros Master cards shipping from OCUK, no update about those.

He is posting in a forum that only he, Mrs Gibbo ,the 2 Gibbo Jnrs twins and Gibbo's cat can see.

Things change I've changed said:
I honestly think there is so much anger going around at the moment they have just decided to batten the hatches and try and ride this out until the cards are back in stock.

I've been a very loyal customer to OcUK for well over a decade and I've never seen such a debacle, the lack of communication, particularly assurance from Gibbo has been astounding, OcUK will claim it's not their fault and it's down to the board partners and Nvidia, and granted there is some truth there, but how best to judge the performance of a company, or organization is how they weather a storm, it's all fun and games when stock is free flowing, I know this from my own job as a purchase manager, this pandemic has really tested me, I've had to go over the top of regional suppliers to fix the problems for them so they can then supply to us lol, too many people out there not good at their job.

They battened down the hatches and ignored everybody from day 1 ie 17th Sep.
