*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

As opposed to your post and run, where are your opinions and thoughts. Anyway, take it to the Ampere thread if you want to discuss this.

I do apologies for trying to start a good discussion in a forum my bad Stanners, and I was interested to hear others opinions rather than force my own as this is an interesting topic I don't have any information on.
And this video and my question relates to the stock situation of the Ampere cards, is this not the 3080 stock situation thread?

Yes this is the stock thread with regards to OCUK, your wanting to start a discussion on the general stock levels can be ket to a seperate thread as to not distract from this. If you would like to discuss this further please drop me a post in the Forum Content Discussion section of the forum as to not clutter this any further.

Its worth noting that there is a site (bolton based) that have updated their order / stock incoming to now show specific cards and not just the brand.

Check it out for some good info.

Holy crap, OCUK's competitor is now posting granular detail on the card models received and the outstanding pre-orders by models. If I dropped out of the OCUK queue I've been in for more than two months and joined the back of the competitor's queue I'd be way closer to receiving the card I want. Meanwhile, @Gibbo has started to pretend we don't exist.

Went to review OCUK on Trustpilot but they don't have a profile. No surprises there...

It’s not under OCUK try Overclockers I had a look and it’s still there.

I'd love for Overclockers to get honest and tell us 'real' amounts of cards that they have received and sent out plus what cards are really arriving soon.

Except of course they do not have an open queue for you to join, so you have to wait and watch for the brief intervals when they will open up orders again when a queue has been completely cleared.

That does happen, but you'd have to be prepared to jump on it during the few minutes that the queue opens up for a particular card.

The funny thing is, we all know that OCUK are keeping a close eye on what their competitors are doing - and how transparent and informative these companies are being with their customers - but are just fobbing us all off with irregular, vague and sometimes downright misleading information whenever 'Gibbo' decides to actually bother with it.

When you throw on top of that that OCUK have kept on greedily accepting hundreds if not thousands of orders despite KNOWING they cannot possibly fulfill them within a reasonable time frame, you end up with a situation that is just despicable from a customer relations standpoint.

It's actually embarrassing how little cards OC have sent out compared to this company. OC were supposed to be the number 1 supplier in the UK apparently. Hahahaha. Quite depressing looking at the numbers left for 3080s on there... Especially the MSI gaming x as that is the queue I am in after only moving about 150 places since launch:rolleyes: They have that many orders left for that card to fulfill...

I have left a review over on TrustPilot for OverClockers and suggest others do the same if they are unhappy.

With me being queue position 1108 last Friday (20th Nov) I don't think I will ever see my card from OverClockers and I am currently attempting to play the game with everyone else with stock notification sites in the hope to get a card, but as fast as I think I am (less than 1 minute from notification, they seem to be out of stock)

With OverClockers being owned by parent German company CaseKing. I wonder how they doing of getting cards in Germany.

Good luck to all as I think we are going to need it.

Now to see if I can find Steve Ling or anyone else higher up to make management aware of these problems as seems like no one is listening or even cares about their customers.

If you are going to play that game then do make sure you are in the right groups, some of them are delivering alerts 5-10 mins behind others.

So for example, and in compliance with the rules of this forum, if you wanted to stand the best chance of getting an alert on the occasions when OCUK have released excess stock of 3070/80/90 for immediate sale (and yes it has happened) then you would want to be in the StockDrops Discord group.
