*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Gibbo did talk about EVGA in one of his posts earlier in this thread, but still no news.

If you follow the EVGA forums you'll see there is nothing there either about EU stock, still very much USA focused for now.

There's def a competitor that is getting weekly shipments of EVGA

Ah Monty. You must have been searching back through my posts from a while ago in your efforts to find something to whine about. Unfortunately for you this question has now been asnwered by Gibbo earlier today, which because you were only looking for issues to carp about, you wouldn't have bothered looking at.

Why would I read backwards in a thread or waste my time searching your posts
I read the update thread then this one from where I left off each time obviously, and just saw your incessant droning on about a non issue. I'm sure you also noticed how Gibbo posted a few times that it's a shortage of chips from Nvidia causing the problem
Maybe now you can stop regurgitating that nonsensical comment ??

That was kind of my point. Is the performance difference and thermals between the strix and the tuf worth the extra ?

i really wish i could give you a answer on that. but i can't speak of asus cards.

i have a zotac trinity oc card running with a +53mhz overclock on the gpu and 512 extra on the vram. And it bossts constantly to about 1980-2010mhz and thats under stock voltage of about 320w running on my custom fan curve of about 61% and stays around 65-68 degrees.

Now the asus tuf cards are widley regarded as being better built card then the one i brought But on most websites reviewers and other users my card is on par gpu boost clock and temps.

i dont know if this helps or not

I mean... That sums up the entire EU experiences across all companies :(

Agreed. If the stories are true though that is changing, Nvidia have increased the GPU deliveries and that should enable the card makers to ramp-up their own production.

Will take a few weeks to make a difference due to shipping times, but mid to late November should feel different.

3080 X2 is 20pc

This is the first shipment they have ever received, they have had a whole month and the best we can get is 20pcs? That's disappointing, I am 33 in the queue so it seems like I wont be getting my card this shipment, does anybody know the plans for the future or any relevant information about Inno3D cards? I am starting to get very disappointed and very impatient.

Any information helps, I just want to get an ETA on when I will receive my card, or when is the next shipment, whatever is closer.

Nice to hear some updates, also still very sad to be in the first 20-30 people in queue but the issue becomes getting stock of that card in general as opposed to being late in the queue :( haha

He mentioned earlier that they're only getting part of the 'large' shipment they were expecting, with the rest following later.

Still none the wiser about whats going on with non OC Tuf cards. Anyone have any idea? I'm 1018 in the queue dont know whether worth switching to the OC at this point?

lo and behold I been let down by OCUK again, ordered parts early yesterday and paid the premium for next day, now i'm sat here with my shiny new aio, cpu, fans, memory with nothing to put it in, 3rd time ocuk have failed to deliver as promised and left me in the lurch. Why o why don't I learn to just go elsewhere, more fool me!

At this late hour it might be best to see what AMD have to offer, or maybe try an order for an RTX3070, and maybe avoid the sheeple cards - the less popular ones perform just as well and you might actually get one of those. Then of course there's the rumours of a 20GB RTX3080 - at a price, and I can't see Nvidia releasing that until the whole current mess is sorted out.

i'd switch personally but either way its going to be a long wait. 2 retailers i spoke to last week told me pretty much what we had already worked out. Very few tuf oc and strix oc are missing the mark and until they do or OC demand drops they will keep labelling them as the model with the higher price tag.

Competitor has 3090 tinity oc for anybody thats interested ;)

no im pretty sure he said in the whole shipment theres only 20pc of the twin x2 oc
if you look he said 1/3 contains 20pcs twin x2 oc 3080 and 10pcs 3090
so im assuming 2 contains different 3080 and 3090 and 3 contains different 3080 and 3090

as far as i am aware, we will only be getting 20pcs for the entire 3 shipments, if im correct

I HOPE NOT I WANT MY CAAAAAAAAAAAAARD
