*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Just to show how much of a mess they have made of this. There much more organise competitor has 1432 rtx30 series this week alone without including the founders edition card they sell.
At this point ocuk needs to explain there self
RTX 30 series covers a huge number of cards, and you can bet most of them will be 3070s We have gone over the competitors table again and again with people trying to get them to see that there simply isn't the information there that they believe there is. Unfortunately some of them have been incapable of recognising the fact that the figures they are deriving are not supported by the information provided.

There is a number for orders outstanding. As orders are lost or fulfilled, it goes down. It mainly gives me an indication about which point I may be able to jump ship.

What else is there?

I was hoping for at least some good news this week given we are half way through November and told things will ramp up. Just find it insane that a company runs with only one person having any detail on orders. I mean he could be on holiday this week and we would get told nothing.

I can see why many are upset and feel the pain myself.

This is similar to the queue system here, your number goes down, but you don't know the ratio of cards supplied to cancellations. On this site you have by dint of these forums the access to numbers for each individual card, wheras on the other site you only have a number outstanding by manufacturer.

There has been no activity on Gibbos part since last week. What happens if he has to self isolate for two weeks or catches the rona? Would we evern notice?

OK, submitted a cancellation request for my Asus TUF No-see. Was position 170 in the queue. Expect a shipment of 200 cards to arrive any day now :D

Well, we’re pretty sure that zero EVGA cards have left here, and some 400 orders gone from competitor. While it is entirely possible that all of those are cancellations that would imply that the updates being provided about deliveries are outright lies, which I think is very unlikely.

You seem to be taking a position that because we don’t know exactly how many of each card have shipped, that invalidates the entire effort to communicate the situation, and that inferring stuff from forum chatter for individual cards is preferable.

Yet OC won’t commit to even publishing their overall outstanding orders.

I know which I would prefer.

I just cancelled my queue position of #745 for a 3080 Strix OC. I only moved about 150 places in nearly 7 weeks.

Got my hands on a 3070 and will wait and see what happens with possible 3080ti next year when all this madness is hopefully gone.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the 3070, i'm managing to play BF5 at 4k HDR on ultra, its exceeded my expectations with decent frame rates at those settings so i'm reasonably happy now :)

I reckon he already works from home so there's no diference to self-isolation really.

Talking about competitor and their table. At least they have a clear number not vague ok, very small, dream amounts that tend to not be true with half deliveries and stock missing. There's no comparison whatsoever. Not even mentioning level of customer service. I called them yesterday and they picked up within 5 minutes or so. Then I called, OCUK and got stuck in the queue for over 40 minutes then got diconnected, phone was picked up and put down, in that fashion.

last stock update 5 days ago. This is really not looking good for the "Ramping up in November". I'm pos 102 for a Gigabyte 3080 Eagle OC. Only queue update i ever got was on Fridays and never when they actually shipped. Makes me really wonder...

I am catagorically not defending OCUK, but equally I'm not a fan of the other sites information which appears to cause some people the belief that they are conveying more information than is actually there.

OCUK are obtaining some cards from EU distribution and others direct from the far East, this might account for the difference in the arrivals of product. I would say that it appears Gibbo is neither chasing these deliveries hard enough, or often enough with 6 weeks going between communication with one vendor.

I mean Im no expert having a divorce under my belt, but Im certain there are other things you can do to cheer the wife up? Some new rubber gloves for the washing up? A new hoover bag? A Paste table to help her do some decorating?
talk about living dangerously!

Regarding orders being offered to other queues before going for free stock, this is absolutely something that OC should be doing. Even to maintain a customer. Being in the Queue for a ROG Strix 3080 non OC I would not hesitate on pulling the trigger on an OC version should that Queue complete before I get my card, that being said I am 229 in the queue, so I doubt that OC will have cleared the OC queue by then. @Gibbo please can this idea be at lease taken to the powers that be and a response be produced either way.

I already have my waterblock for the card and it is sitting there mocking me.
