I’m sure that £999 3080TI would be FE price not Strix so for Strix it’ll be around £200 more. Save £500 and wait other 4-5 months isn’t worth for me as prefer to have 3090 now than have to wait more.

Same specs as the 3090 with a 320bit bus and 4GB less memory for a huge chunk of change less...

Is there really a gap there?

I guess there is a gap when it comes to memory, but performance wise, there isn't a huge gap for it to slot into.

And, there's nothing to suggest you would get one of these anytime soon, even if launched in January. You will just be sat in a pre order queue in Jan rather than now.....with a few hundred quid in your pocket to be fair.
 
Wait now wait later keep waiting till u actually find out that your next gpu is called WAITING EDITION :D there will be always better gpus and cpus
 
Hey but just think if you pre order a 3080ti in January you will be able to swap your place in the queue for a much higher position for the 4080 queue!

After ordering back on 25th Sept and with a lack of a finish line in sight coupled with less than regular stock updates... I'm just about done.

I've been an OCUK customer for almost 20 years and this could well be my last OCUK purchase if the whole Brexit thing results in me having to pay new taxes / import duties when I buy from the UK. I would genuinely be sorry if my last OCUK transaction turned out to be a cancellation. I always enjoyed finding the Haribos tucked away in the packaging :-)

2.) You must know how to press back on a forum otherwise how are you computer literate enough to even turn on your pc.

I mean come on how hard is it ?
It seems you can read at least so shouldn’t be all that difficult.
I mean if you struggle to press back and read through the previous page because of some sort of disability or deficiency then ill apologise.
 
A competitor is scalping but hoping no one finds out by sending out a email stock notifications with a link to the Gigabyte blower versions for 'only' £1800 but strangely you can't find on their website!!
 
Many places have raised the prices not only OcUK. Really glad I’ve pre-ordered my card. Wonder what’s the price it’ll be once it’s on the shelf.

maybe it’s related to Brexit I don’t know how they work out the prices.

ah well my monitors now being delayed too lol, saying come in on 16th so let’s see.
