SLI is completely useless these days, hardly anything supports it and support is getting worse. Don't bother. Always go powerful single card over two (annoying still powerful) lesser cards.

I was SLI on most of cards until my 1080ti, I spent for too much time on the nvidia forums working out better SLI bits. So have stuck with single card solution. Was interested to see if 3090 faired.
