Nvidia GTX 1070 a suitable GPU for my old 4770K system?

Hi.

I am contemplating some upgrades with redundancy money, my system is as in the signature, basically an old BenQ 120Hz 1080p gaming monitor and the old MSI Twin Frozr 7950 GPU's, currently I use one of, but have two.

If I move to a 1440 or 4k monitor would a single GTX 1070 be suitable, and is the 4770K still a capable processor?

The i7-4770K is still a fantastic CPU. You're set for years tbh.

Running one on a 4820K (which is basically very similar to the 4770K) with minimal overclock and getting great performance.
