That 1080 seems a much better buy, especially if this is only introductory pricing on the 1070ti.

Spend another £20 for the MSI Armor, the same card I'm using, and get £20 for the Destiny 2 code every day. I'm struggling to see the point in the 1070ti unless they expect 1080 pricing to actually rise? Some of the cards are only £20-£40 less than the 1080. Madness!

I just don't get this release, not for these prices anyway. What I really don't like is that they expect people to buy a product on pre-order when there are no reviews for another week. How on earth is anybody supposed to know how they perform (don't say between a 1070 and a 1080)? If I remember right the Ryzen launch was the same and I hope that launching a product before any reviews are allowed isn't going to be the way things are going to go.

On top of that, is there really a need for the product at all? Is there a big enough gap between the 1070 and 1080 to need this?

If this was a replacement for the 1070 at a more 1070 like price then fine, but I don't get this.
