The reason it DOES matter is because the 5870 beats it in a few games, so what is it? "Sometimes the most powerful GPU in the world".

What I find utterly bizarre is how often ATi and nVidia GPUs match each other for performance at times.

Seems to be a bit too much of a coincidence to me.
