I'm selling my 980 Ti as I don't game as much and could do with the cash getting £310 for it, I can get a 780 Ti windforce for £300 with best offer so probably try my luck with £80 would it be worth it at those prices? I have a 4k monitor I don't mind dialing back to 1080p :)

I would be looking for something on the AMD side in this price range but you might struggle at £100. The 780ti is still a decent card at that type of money but going forward something along the lines of a 290/x would be better imo.

so unless I can't get it for £80 look towards a 290 for around the £100 mark? :)

I would say so. I managed to get a 290 Ice-Q for a mate 6 months back at £120 so it should be possible. This was one of the best coolers around and pre overclocked. You will have the extra 1 gb of Vram which even at 1080p seems to be what you would want. In the majority of games these days the 290 seems to be faster in just about everything and in some of the newer games it can really give the 780ti a good hiding.

If you don't game much, try and grab a 7950/7970 they're brilliant cards for the price. I nabbed a 7950 for £60 and does everything at 1080p medium/high.
