I believe the latest drivers will only work with the Windows 10 Anniversary update. Keep applying Windows 10 updates until there are no more and you should be good after that :)

ok im so dumb, i was using a previous 1080 driver for my new 1080ti hence why it didnt work.

But i have now bought kapersky because i had a perfect machine and a terrible virus ruined my PC with disgusting pop ups, lost so much stuff, all my games gone so wiped the whole drive as i could not locate it, now i have to start again with 150, so sad

If it's a HDD then all data can be brought back pretty easily even when formatted. If you don't want to mess around re-downloading all your games.

Ease us data recovery is what I have used in the past when I've needed to recover stuff. Full version can be had easily on Pb.

Shouldn't the 1080 drivers work with the 1080Ti?

I know it can cause conflicts because the drivers recognised a 1080 when drivers was installed but if you use DDU and then used the same installer used for your 1080 it should work for the 1080Ti too.

Either way i always download the latest driver when i get a new card.

Unless he edits one of the Ini files, there won't be a 1080Ti in the list of compatible hardware. It would indeed work and I remember editing one such driver to check out my Titan Maxwell performance from an older Titan OG driver and it worked just fine and dandy.

Ahh didn't think of this :) so just reinstall drivers every time as usual then for headache sakes lol.

when i got my 1080ti upgrading from 780ti i just put the new card in without messing with the drivers. i think the drivers are the exact same so no need to change?
