some people are putting the 2000 series down even tho they haven't tryed it for themselvess. is it just me that thinks thats wrong?

to be honest i would never go back to a nvidia card even if they had a super best card.. im not saying nvidia cards are bad, they are really good, but i just prefer ATI

sounds like your doing the same things mate. people in the know dont dismiss any company. they choose a product based on the performance of that product.

no, you're dismissing something over brand preference which is just as bad:)

i think we all need a 3ed competitor like matrox to make something to rival the 2900 and the 8800s

come on matrox i think you can do it lol

3ed competitor with good cards = lower prices ;)

no it isn't..

its same as food brands. everybody as they own prefer brands...

yes because they would prefer the taste of one over the other and thats the only decent reason to.

so why do you prefer ati?

the drivers are swings and round abouts. wasnt so long ati were firmly in the back seat. is that a reason never to go nvidia again?

crossfire is a reason you prefer ati?

crossfire is another reason why i prefer ati...

is there a law saying that i can't prefer a hardware brand??

you didnt answer my question lol.

no of course there is no law. you can 'prefer' what ever you like :) i just believe that people who make such extreme statements like 'ill never go nvidia again' should really have a good reason for saying so. i dont believe you do:)

because i just prefer ati. simple as that..

whats the point getting a NV graphic card for about 2months then if i wanted to SLI to boost the performance, i wouldn't be able to because my motherboard is ati so it'll mean more money must be spent.. then if ati brings a more powerful card out it'll mean i must buy a ati motherboard again if i wanna crossfire so more money again.. also i had problems with a nv card in ati motherboard before..
