**NVIDIA PRICE DROP: GTX 670 FROM £249.99 & GTX 680 from £329.99 Inc. VAT!!!**

NVIDIA have no plans to move any other prices and 760 is not coming yet, no ETA for that as I suspect NVIDIA will want the channel to clear through stocks on 660Ti and what is left on 670 first.

So VGA wise, there are no more planned launches now for a while. Apart from the huge major Haswell launch this weekend.

Thanks :)

Reasonable price drop on the 680 but the full size WF 670's haven't moved much. Less than £10 cheaper than when I got mine 367 days ago to be exact.

I was excited when I saw the thread title but yeah most 670s have barely changed, especially the WF that I'm interested in :(

What is the KFA2 like? I've never heard of them before.

That's much better. NVidia cards are now priced in line with AMD cards offering similar performance. I wonder whether AMD will cut prices further?

Worth going from a GTX560Ti to a GTX670? for 1900*1200 I'd like to crank up the details to high/ultra on some of the newer games and I feel the GTX560Ti struggles a bit now.

KFA2 are a spin off from BFG and are a local (UK) company. RMA would be cheap and they have a good reputation. They are part of Galaxy also. I would buy without question but the 2 year warranty as opposed to 3 is a slight put off.

I went from a gtx 560ti 448 to a gtx 670 (2nd hand £100 bargain!) and even though the lower is a better card the difference is very noticeable.

I'm sure I only paid £10 or less more for my EVGA 670 FTW than the new price is. I was expecting a bigger drop than £10.

Was considering going TRI-SLI, but I'm worried that 2GB will become an isue after the new consoles are out and games are designed to use more VRAM. While the GPU grunt of 3 670s will probably be ok for a year or so, I'm worried that the memory will become more of an isue sooner. So even with the nearly £10 price drop it doesn't seem like a good use of money.

I am rather happy they haven't dropped more. I took a punt against a 670 yesterday for 276 and with the £20 quid voucher I had plus the £10 cashback would out to be 246. Thankfully thatcard only went down 6 quid and not any more :)

and who said it wouldnt happen ?

it was wise to advise people to wait so hopefully all the "should I buy now or wait for 700 series to appear" advice was well heeded in waiting.... anybody who didnt was not wise.

I didn't wait. Got myself a used HD 7970 for £190, though. ;)

reviews are out - a match for the 22 month old 7970Ghz in most games.... depending on the game depends on which card is faster, and some of the `ultra` clocked GTX 680`s are faster still.
