Taken from the product page, they are compatable with all reference design cards.

Hence why i asked before if the OCuk ones where reference or not, and nath kindly responded with the below info.
So if you plan on watercooling one, get the cheapest you can get, as warranty means nothing as soon as u put the block on it.
All the OcUK 768MB cards are reference design as are the EVGAs, Palits and Zotac cards. Hope this helps
So going by all that info the following brands Zotac, Sparkle, Inno3D, MSI, Point of View, EVGA, Palit are compatible with the EK block.

No, this is not the 1gb version, you wouldn't see a decent increase. You might as well crossfire your 5770 as you will undoubtedly lose money selling it.

One of which was mine lol, glad you mentioned about the slight price increases, and how fast they where selling at that price, i would have been mad at myself if i held out to long just to come to try and get and then see all are gone, happened to me before lol.
