Right,

I've set up my raid array, Pressed F6 and selected the drivers i want installing, This and a Controller, Formatted my drives, came to this and boom.

It asks me to insert the floppy disk containing these drivers. I have it in from when i pressed F6 at the start and selected them but it just wont accept it, when i press Enter, nothing happens.

I'm using an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo with the onboard Nvidia raid controller (or so i hope), and i'm using the Make Driver Disk software from there website to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

You've made sure that the NVidia SATA controller has been set to RAID mode, the appropriate channels are in RAID mode and the array has been created OK in the RAID BIOS?

Where does the SCSI mentioned in the title come into this?

The raid array is set up and is recognised during the XP setup.

When installing XP it asks if i want to install any extra drivers so naturally i press F6 and select the 2 drivers that are on my motherboard support CD as raid drivers. I then follow the procedures of the setup, format the drives only to be asked to insert the "Nvidia raid driver (SCSI)".

I still have my floppy drive with the drivers on in from before but it doesnt seem to register it. I've been like this for 2 hours to no success :(

I have a vague recollection of having a similar problem years ago with an NForce4 board. I think I ended up having to use drivers from the Asus website because the ones on the CD just plain didn't work.

I've downloaded some more drivers from the Asus website and the same thing happens.

After a bit more digging some people have said they got results form labelling their floppy, so thats what i'll be doing now.

After 4 hours of work, i have Xp installed. There was a problem regarding my chipset and floppy drives and lucky for me i stumbled across Nlite, allowing me to intergrate the drivers onto a modified Xp disk. Thanks for the help though Rpstewart, really appreciate it m8.
