I've recently got 2 WD 320gb RE16s (Raid Edition) to do a raid0 on.

But can install windows on it?? NO!

I've got a floppy with the drivers on it.

I've created the array.

It notices it.

Starts the install sometimes has problems on the copys system files. Sometimes on the installing system components.

Then everytime i have to go and rebuild the array and clear the disks.

Getting dam annoying now.

Anyone know what to do??

Its with my Asus P5N-E SLi 650i

Cheers

I was thinking that, but the XP pro CD, i was using was brand new, only just taken out of the packaging.

WOW i can even have it install Firefox and utorrent at the installation time :)

I'm liking that link cheers mate.

Not wanting to complicate matters, but also have a look at:

RVM integrator for integrating updates/hotfixes and other stuff
http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/

DriverPacks integrator, for integrating a hell of a lot of other drivers besides the "basic" ones. (Warning, this can cause an XP CD to become well in excess of a gig, requiring it to be put onto DVD )
http://driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/

With these 2 tools together with NLite, you can produce an XP install CD to suit you down to a T, if required.
