Its real easy to **** off, but for me its the logical evolution of SLI.
Thats not to say its not going to be owned by people with money to burn and for bragging rights, but there is to my mind a legitimate market for it.
Running big monitors requires a huge amount of gfx power 2 sli 8800 GTX's has slow down in many of todays games at res's of 2560 x 1600.
Is it worth the money? For the vast majority it wont be.
But after playing on a 30" monitor id pay a fair bit to keep playin on one.
Maybe a point but the next gen card is meant to be 2 -3 times quicker than a 8800 GTX so if true and come Feb, one of those will beat a 8800 GTX SLI and maybe even a tri SLI 8800 GTX. A lot of money to spend for 3 months of high res gaming IMO.
