NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

In the waiting list for the Zotac Solid and probably would maybe go to about £2300 but certainly not +25% on MSRP.
I heard OC have the card listed for £2800 but I just can't justify £2500 when would get about £1400 for my 4090..

£1000 for up to a 30% increase isn't really justifiable.
£1400 for the 4090 is basically giving it away at the minute... depending what sku you have they are fetching between £1700 to £2100 for 2nd hand 4090's especially the FE . I don't think they are worth that much considering they were £1700 at most new but the fact is that is the amount they are selling for used at the minute. I imagine at £1400 it would sell as soon as you listed it in this current climate

Like others pointed out, it's mainly down to personal tolerance. It's very rare in my case that I coil whine bothers me, because my system has 30 fans and 3 pumps, and those gonna be more noticeable when gaming on a hot summer day (30 fans at 2000 RPM laugh at any GPU coil whine lol). Yet, I am focused on the game, plus I often play music simultaneously.
What sort of thing have you got going on where you have that much cooling and you need to run the fans hard?
I would imagine most of the stock coming in to the UK would be via sea freight to Europe rather than airfreight direct, in which case shipping time is 6-8 weeks.

Having said that, some cards have Feb/March as ETA so those cards would have to be in transit already to meet those dates.
My FE 5090 purchased on the 30th of Jan had a QC pass date of 18th of Jan....

here we go again

Corsair 1000D case, 2x480 and 2x360 rads in push/pull. All watercooled, even the RAM. Due to the volume, one D5 does not provide enough head pressure. One D5 pump provides about 0.5 GPM flow rate, 2xD5 in series 0.8 GPM, and then with 3xD5 I finally get >1GPM flow rate. It's an overkill even for an AI enterprise, but hey, I am a PC enthusiast.

By concept the more fans, capcity and exposure you have, the less delta you get. Which is true, but if the environment (aka my room) with closed doors absorbs all that heat, especially during peak summer day... No matter how many rads or fans you have, if your room is getting hotter. So both the PC and the environment temperatures need to be kept consistently 'cool'. I will invest in an aircon this summer probably, but I need to spend funds on exterior as well unfortunately, and I just bought a 5090 so... I will see.

Were the prices inflated for the 4090 when they first came out, as I wasn't on the forums at that time?
no, as i remember 4090s were not priced like im seeing now, i bought 2 over 15 months, cost me 1850 and 1950 and these were top tier cards, somehow mid tier cards are selling for top tier prices, its all down to low stock and super high demand.

MSI Gaming Trio 5090 was in stock again for 2 mins and could have got one - They had 3 left when I added to basket.
But not paying £2500 for one.
ooof i missed it, cant be online all the time, maybe I need one of those scripted browser bots, so it can buy it for me when its in stock

That sounds impressive! Maybe you add an indoor Vs outdoor pair of temp sensors and motorise your windows to automatically open when that differential goes the wrong way through
