Honest question cause i do notg know but is the PO to the supplier not a type of contract? ie we agree to buy x amount of units, you agree to charge us x amount?Because the small print when you do the pre-order says they reserve the right to increase the price and charge you the difference at the time of delivery or choose to cancel the pre-order - it's a contractual term, unlike your internal process of raising a PO at work which is just an accounting procedure
