NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Ugh, stuck in a meeting all morning, able to feel my phone vibrating in my pocket as the stock alerts pop in and completely unable to do anything about them.

Dont worry, most of it is nonsense. The same Asus 5090 TUF at £3,070 that no one wants, I think peoples autobuyer keeps buying it, then they cancel the order.

Then there's a TUF at £2,700 that keeps pinging but you can't even add to basket, it just says coming soon with 3 available. I think the app is confused by this. There's also a gaming trio on the same site that says in stock permanently, but can't be added to basket.

The Suprim liquid at £2,650 were snapped up by autobuyers, so unless you also have an autobuyer, you could never buy it. There was also a PNY card that disappeared like lightning.

Yesterday there were a handful of Windforce and Waterforce cards but not much else.

There is a disproportionate level of pings to actual purchasable stock

They need to knock that £3070 Asus out of the notifications, as it's been sending the system berserk for almost a week now. Either that or I'll buy the bloody thing myself at the stupid, inflated price just to stop the notifications.

Maybe that's their cunning plan.

Not long ago a 3070 was a pretty good GPU and not the price of a GPU :)

Another update - Although called them this morning and they stated would receive card next week.

We're really sorry to have kept you waiting. We’ve tried our best to restock the below item(s) you wanted, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to get any more:
GMXS - GeForce RTX 5090 Windforce Overclocked 32GB Graphics Card

What does this mean for you?

We've cancelled your order for these item(s)
If you paid in full for your item(s) at time of order, your card payment will be refunded with immediate effect. Please allow 3 working days for this to show in your bank account
If you added the item(s) to your Very Pay account they've been cancelled and will reflect in My Account
Once again, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
On the brighter side, there's a lot more stock coming in so be on the lookout and you'll definitely get one.

I actually got the Suprim Liquid as it was the 5090 I ideally wanted. I used my own human fingers and had browser alerts set up on Firefox. It is faster to have the alerts coming in when i am working and to go to checkout on my computer than it is to use the laggy android app. So I did get one without using any autobuy. I also got a MSI Trio for a friend's rig (also in the rainforest), like a few weeks ago using my own human fingers just being extremely fast.

Yes most likely - £2400 was on the very high side of what was willing to pay.
But been in the queue now at the other place for over a month and only moved 11 places.

you're not missing anything it's just the same overpriced card going in and out of stock. I suspect buyers get cold feet and cancel

Looking good on the AMD side for stock & price. Will AMD do to nvidia what they did to Intel? Hopefully.

Thanks, good to know that it's possible to get it manually. I can only use my phone at work, my employer can see everything I'm doing on their computers :(
