Yeah I will test it tonight hopefully.

Main reason I went for this over AMD was VR support.

One of the other places that has no shame has 3 gaming oc 5090s for £3k. It’s had them sitting around for quite a while by the looks of things.

Just tried to live chat the place with the queue and the link doesn’t seem to work.
Has anyone else tried?
I’m guessing they’ve disabled it again because they know they’ll be inundated?

There's no chance I'm going to cancel the pre-order until I've installed the FE and checked that it works and that the ROPs are correct, etc. Once that's clear I'll cancel the pre-order.

I wouldn't want to risk a potentially long returns / RMA process with nothing as a backup.

The retailer that dispatches FE cards keeps ample stock for returns. My 3090 FE lasted around 2 hours before literally going POP. I had a replacement the next day and they arranged DPD collection from me the following day for the faulty card.

I think it's different cards - lots of different models. That particular competitor is among the worst on scalping. Curiously enough, they get a lot of stock.

They definitely keep stock around for RMA’s. I got my replacement 3080 FE within a few days because of excessively high memory temps, which caused the auto fans to run at 100% when gaming.

The Palit cooling is just very meh for an AIB card. According to a review yesterday runs 1c hotter than the FE on the GPU core when noise normalised, which is not good at all.
