MSI Ventus for what will be £2200, no thank you. There was another post which suggested the 5080 Asus Astral will be $1900. LOL! No doubt it will sell out immediately by those who can't stomach paying $300 more for an entry level 5090.

I feel like the 5090 would be much easier to attain than people think, if those prices are real.

Is there really much of a market for 4090 owners spending $2500 for a 40% improvement upgrade? That's similar to the PS5 pro's improvement over the base PS5. Sony overestimated the demand for such an upgrade even though the monetary investment is much smaller than a 5090.

For sure, there will still be a healthy demand for the 5090 FE. I think most people are going to wait patiently for the FE instead of paying several hundreds more to get an AIB immediately.

We will know later today how good or bad these cards will be, can't wait.

We know already. 30% in traditional rasterization, 50-60% faster in RT (which is the vast majority of AAA games).

As a 4090 owner, it's RT games that struggle. Can't wait to get my 5090 :)

FE (if it's quiet as they say in reviews) or Astral for me!

By the time stock has normalised and you can get one, the 60 series will be out a few months later :D

If preorders go live today... regardless of the reviews showing the 5090 to be mediocre, I bet there's going to be a lot of misery soon here with folks complaining they couldn't pre-order. Either that or...
