NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Does antibody use a lot and recommend using the Nvidia app? I generally use just the driver and haven't used the app and just wanted to see if it's required or adds anything other than just changing the game setting in the game instead

I use it for DLSS overrides and RTX HDR, both not in the old Control Panel afaik.

I have seen a lot of RTX 50 series black screen issues reported. Anyone having issues?

So far I've had none. My specs as per my signature, single TV over HDMI, I haven't changed the PCIE mode in the BIOS, and I've updated the drivers whenever new ones have become available.

I think it's mostly bad luck, whatever NVIDIA did recently driver wise may or may not affect your setup, and the newer drivers may or may not fix the problem.

Unfortunately you need to use both the app and the control panel to get the most out of your card as neither can do everything on their own.
