yes, Star Citizen is using tress fx (for planetside / fps parts), and physx turbulence, cloth, particles etc.
Good to see both will be working on the same title. Would be nice if other games decided to follow this path. I bet this is the only game we'll see such a thing though.
It's nice but still not fair on the AMD guys, nvidia users can use all the effects as TressFX isn't locked down. I can't imagine what performance will be like with everything enabled though![]()
I think I remember Greg saying a while back he predicted in a few years you would need two different systems to enjoy all games in full effect.
It's not far off looking that way now![]()
