Nvidia to launch GeForce GTX 880 in September

My understanding of the time frame is that there will be some form of announcement at Gamescon Aug 14th-17th then Launch/press event in September, with availability in October.
 
Had much hope for this, especially after 750ti.. please give me something interesting to step up to! I bet there's a few here still 'struggling' along on 2GB of VRAM. Would be nice to get a good chunk extra performance from the GPU too though.

We know they will be out for Christmas for sure
