Obviously this is ridiculous but it makes sense from purely a business point of view.

If you look at completed listing prices on the auction site, there are loads of 2060 listings going for over £400 - the average seems to be about £350. Absolutely insane when they were £250 a year ago and £300 2 years ago.

If there wasn't such a bad supply of cards, I'd have sold this 2080 and replaced it with a 3080. That's still the plan at some point, but likely at least a couple of months away.

Still, I feel damn lucky to have a 2080 given the current situation. It's still a beast with a G Sync monitor, buying a 3080 is just me wanting to have the latest and almost greatest..

Ironically the PC market has never had a better few years for the manufacturers, but as a consumer - I’m struggling to think of a worse time to be a pc gamer. It’s always been expensive, but it’s getting a bit silly now. Re-releasing EOL GPU’s at higher prices? Wow nVidia.
