In that Scottish so-very-Scottish guy video that was linked in the other thread, apparently JSH said Pascal was nV's gaming card "for the foreseeable future". Not the quote from last year, where he said something similar, but a new quote from a few weeks ago, again saying Pascal was it in the gaming sector.

We already know there is no new AMD consumer GPU in 2018. Perhaps nV saw that and realised they didn't need a new consumer GPU this year either. Or at least in H1. Maybe they'll bring something out in Q3/Q4. They'll still have months before AMD release anything even then.

Prepare for the worst, then you can't be disappointed.

Thing is, he won't exactly want to say otherwise as that'll slow down sales of Pascal cards. They always do it, then *blam* an announcement. I really can't see them leaving it more than 2 years after Pascal to launch a new line-up. They love money just too damn much!!!!!!
