NVIDIA might be motivated to create such a dual-GPU graphics card based on its top-end GK110 chip, to counter AMD's upcoming "Volcanic Islands" GPU family, or so claims a VideoCardz report, citing sources.

Mark Kaap down for two of them.

Too slow if it ever sees the light of day.:D

With the GTX 690 the performance was close to 2 GTX 680s, with a dual GK110 card the performance will be well short of 2 GTX 780s.:(

The only thing I can see a card like this doing, is helping to sell HD 9970s by the bucket load at a third of the price.

Nice, will be interested to see what it turns out to be like. If it happens that is.

I do wish you'd post the links properly Boomstick.

I don't think it will happen.

I think the way to go would have been similar to the GTX 680 to GTX 770 route using GK104 chips.

Every time I post a link I get banned for hotlinking, they keep changing the rules it seems lol. Sometimes they say it's ok to link to an article or picture if it's uploaded to certain sites etc, but then other times ban without warning. I'm playing it safe now :p, not that difficult to replace the 'xx' with 'tt' if someone wants to read the full article. Hopefully someone at OCUK can clarify what is ok to link to and what isn't...
