I'm using a Crucial P1 500Gb drive in my build and I've noticed that after only about a week's usage the performance has dropped massively. When I first tested the set up, on UserBenchmark the drive had a score of 294% and was performing 'way above expectations', and now only scoring around 180%. I know that SSDs can lose performance when nearing capacity but the drive is only about half full. Any suggestions what could be causing this? It's a very cheap NVMe drive so maybe that's just the price you pay.
