Something not very expensive ,but also not on the cheap side.

What's your use case? Gaming?

For most uses, the SA570 or SN770 (or SN750 SE) are plenty sufficient and can be found pretty cheap. OCUK have an offer on the SA510 500GB, for £40 which I'd personally consider suitable for a boot drive, because it has DRAM and I find proven old SATA drives fairly reliable for this.

Crucial P2 and Kingston NV2 are cheaper, but likely to be QLC, so I'm inclined to avoid them.
 
If you're buying today then 1TB 980 Pro is a great deal after cashback and your system is modern enough to support PCIE.

The 2TB 980 Pro was a great deal after cashback but think its out of stock.

Samsung cashback is very easy to claim and pay back. I grabbed a 2TB 980 Pro.
