Ok got a board ready to go, can hold 5 nvme’s, would like some advice on how to set up

1 nvme superfast 4tb (gen 4), 2nd nvme normal 2tb gen 4, 3 nvme 1tb gen 3 average.

Which one as the boot drive,

Option one
is the 2tb, with the 4tb for games and the 1tb for docs
Option 2 1tb as boot with 4tb for games and 2tb partitioned for games and docs
Option 3 4tb as boot partitioned

All advice gratefully received

2 for me
os doesn't need that much space..I'd do 1tb for that as just for reading...anything corrupted, reinstall windows on here, everything else stays safe...also when move pc, just take the 4tb and 2tb with you, sell the 1tb will the pc with the windows on it
of course the 2tb versions aren't that much more than 1tb now as more popular so could just get 2x2tb, 1x4tb which is a bit of overkill i guess
4tb for games..make sure you download steam software /xbox and all other places on there, leaving the os drive free for os
2tb for docs/photo's etc

Already got the drives

Maybe another option:

2tb as boot, but partitioned to 1tb and 1tb (os and docs)
4tb for games
1tb for overspill

why bother partitioning as have 3 drives already...1tb for os...windows takes 65gb...you'll still have over 900gb for docs there if you want to keep it together, 4tb games, 2tb photo's/home vids/misc (or reverse depending on what's your pref)..same thing, when you come to sell, sell with the 1tb, keep the 4tb and 2tb drive
