I've got a Dell Inspiron desktop and have recently swapped the hard drive out for a new Crucial P2 NVMe SSD.
When cold booting the PC throws up an error about the temperature exceeded on the drive, however when it's been running for a bit it restarts and boots fine. If I check the SMART info in windows, the temperature of the drive shows as around -5C which is obviously what is causing the error.
If I disable SMART in the BIOS, everything works properly and it doesn't throw up an error. Is this likely to be a drive issue? Should I just RMA?
